This summer sees the return of Brandi Carlile and her band as they kick off their Hard Way Home Summer Convoy tour in Hampton Beach NH on June 13th. This date will also mark the launch of Tithe One On (T1O) a new campaign benefitting the Looking Out Foundation.

Tithe One On Mission

No kind deed ever stops with itself, it always leads to another. Together, let’s create a culture of kindness.

Have you ever wished you could go back and thank the stranger who returned your lost wallet, or the cashier at your local store who always helps you carry your groceries, or a friend who came to the rescue during hard times, a family member who’s always been there for you, or someone in your local community who is making a difference?…

Carlile says “I’m so excited to take the T1O Campaign on the road this summer. Acknowledging other people’s acts of kindness spreads such a positive message. It takes the focus away from our own lives and needs by literally “looking out” for other people who are simply doing kind things for one another, which is what our Looking Out Foundation was built on”.

Inspired by the original practice of tithing, being charitable and the fact that so many kind deeds go unnoticed everyday; the T1O Campaign encourages people to stop, focus on the good and acknowledge the human acts of kindness we witness in our daily lives. You can show your appreciation to someone special by making a donation to T1O in their name in exchange for a T1O bracelet that you tie on their wrist to symbolize their kind deed. You can share their act of kindness with the world on titheoneon.org enabling them to get on the grid and join the culture of kindness. The green cotton T1O bracelets are part of a continuous cord of kindness, representing how one kind deed leads to another.

Carlile continues… “It is my hope that T1O will encourage positive exchanges and communication between people by bringing communities together for the greater good. In a day and age where bad and distressing news is instantly accessible and fed to us on a daily basis, it’s refreshing to focus our hearts and minds on delivering good news for a change. Good news was always intended to be shared and I truly believe that one kind deed leads to another, we strive to perpetuate this message with T1O”.

All proceeds from the Tithe One On bracelets this summer will benefit Brandi Carlile’s Looking Out Foundation, supporting humanitarian outreach efforts in local communities and beyond.
